What you can expect from us
This page is here so you know how things work before you commit to anything. If any of it is unclear, that is our problem to fix. Tell us and we will rewrite it.
Your say
Four things that are yours to decide
You choose who supports you
You can ask to meet a worker before support starts, ask for someone different, and ask for the same person each time where our roster allows it.
You set what happens in a session
Support follows what you have agreed, and you can change your mind on the day. A worker will check with you rather than assume.
You can bring someone with you
A family member, friend, advocate or interpreter can be part of any conversation. You tell us how much they are involved and when.
You can end it
You can pause or stop a support without giving a reason. Notice periods are in your agreement and we will explain them before you sign anything.
In your home
Your home stays your home
Support in your home runs on your standards: which rooms are private, how the kitchen is organised, whether shoes come off at the door, what gets touched and what does not. Workers ask before changing anything, and what you tell one worker is written down so you are not repeating yourself to the next.
Support with daily life
Questions people ask first
Straight answers
- Do I need an approved NDIS plan to contact you?
- No. You can ask questions before you have a plan, while you are waiting, or if you are not sure whether the NDIS is the right path at all. We will tell you plainly if what you need sits outside what we do.
- What does a service agreement actually contain?
- What support is provided, how often, roughly when, who provides it, what it costs, how cancellations work, and how either of us can change or end the arrangement. We go through it with you before anything is signed, and you can take it away to read with someone you trust.
- Can I change my supports later?
- Yes. Support that fitted six months ago often does not fit now. Tell us and we will rewrite the arrangement rather than leave it to drift.
- What if I am unhappy with something?
- Tell any of our team, or use the feedback form. You can also raise a concern with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at any time, without telling us first, and it will not affect your supports.
- Who sees information about me?
- Only the people who need it to provide your support. If we need to share something outside that, we ask you first, except in the rare situations where the law requires it, and we tell you when that happens.
Ready to talk, or just want to ask something?
Both are fine. A question costs you nothing and does not put you on a list.
