How we work

From first message to first shift

Nothing here is unusual, but a lot of it goes unsaid. This is the sequence we follow, so you can see what is coming and where you can stop or change direction.

  1. You get in touch

An enquiry from you, a family member, or someone acting with your consent. You do not need a diagnosis, a plan number or a referral form to start a conversation.

  2. We talk it through

A conversation about what you want support with, when it would help, and whether we are the right fit. If we are not, we will say so and help you look elsewhere.

  3. We put it in writing

A service agreement in plain language: what support is provided, when, by whom, what it costs, and how either of us can change or end it.

  4. Support starts, and keeps being checked

You meet the workers before support begins wherever possible. We review the arrangement with you and change it when it stops fitting.

The written part

What a service agreement contains

You can take it away, read it with someone you trust, and come back with changes. Nothing starts until you are satisfied with it.

  • What support is provided, described in ordinary words.
  • How often it happens and roughly when.
  • Who provides it, and what happens when that person is unavailable.
  • What it costs, and which NDIS support category it is claimed against.
  • How cancellations and missed shifts are handled by both sides.
  • How either of us can change or end the agreement, and how much notice is needed.
  • How to raise a concern, including how to do it without contacting us.

Afterwards

Support that gets checked, not just delivered

We sit down with you regularly to go through what is working and what is not. You do not have to wait for that meeting, because if something is wrong on a Tuesday, say so on the Tuesday.

Notes about your support are written the way we would say them to you, and you can read them at any time. If you disagree with something recorded, we record your view alongside it.

Before a plan review, we pull together what has actually happened over the period, so the conversation with the NDIA is based on evidence rather than memory.

The first step is one short message

No forms to download, no plan number needed, no obligation attached.
